RELATIONSHIPS :

Kenshin
Himura Kenshin Underneath the layers, Misao has a deep respect for Kenshin, and the way he handles himself. I think most of the time, she's too busy trying to hide it (that is, to say, she's too busy trying to be a leader) to realize that it's showing. If anything, Misao has come to expect a certain attitude, and has set high standards for him. Kenshin cares about Misao enough to make promises to her, such as bringing Aoshi back without killing him, and turns out to be a decent friend to her. She's forever in his debt, and knows it.

Kaoru
Kamiya Kaoru Kaoru and Misao have similiar temperments, and tend to fall back on each other for support. They were both raised by "foster" families (after Kaoru's father dies), and they seem to be on similar ground with their love lives. Towards the end of the Kyoto arc, they've become extremely good friends, in fact, it seems like Kaoru has become sort of a sister figure... Misao is really distraught of Kaoru's "death" and vows to help solve the crime.

Yahiko
Yahiko Like I said before, Kaoru and Misao are more alike than one might think, so you can imagine that Misao gets along about the same with Yahiko as Kaoru does. They fight, chase each other around, but deep down, they care about each other. Yahiko and Misao are the two youngest (main) characters, and are often the bunt of many "youngster" jokes. It's not unusal to see both of them running around like four year olds on a sugar high. I think they have kindred souls- they never give up, and are insanely stubborn about their pride and the pride of their loved ones.

Sano
Sano~ There's not a lot to say about the relationship between Sano and Misao. In fact, besides the occasional teasing, it's almost non-existant. Though, I will say that Sano does show concern for Misao at times. He doesn't take her seriously enough to ever let her fight beyond what's needed, and never resists a chance to make a dig at her body, mind, and, well, just about everything else. :x
